Since 1989, the Chuncheon Puppet Festival has stood as one of Asia’s most iconic celebrations of puppetry, imagination, and live performance. Now entering its 38th edition, doors are opening to international artists, companies, and creative teams ready to bring bold new work to South Korea in 2026.
Whether you work in experimental puppetry, object theatre, street performance, or hybrid forms that defy traditional categories — they want to see it.
They want the strange, the poetic, the radical, the tender, the impossible.
