Laura Leech works for Black Country Touring, a touring scheme bringing theatre and dance to community venues across the Black Country in the West Midlands. She leads on programming Smethwick Puppetry Festival, which has been running annually since 2024.
Prior to working at Black Country Touring, Laura worked as a freelance stage manager, production manager and prop maker. She has previously worked with companies such as Birmingham REP, Grange Park Opera Company and Birmingham Commonwealth Games. She also works as a freelance producer for Notnow Collective based in Birmingham.

Events coordinator. Laura supports the planning and delivery of events and is keen to hear from anyone interested in collaborating with BrUNIMA or looking for support with puppetry events, whether in person or online.
