Applications are now open for the Spring 2026 Erasmus+ exchange programme.

Why come to ESNAM on an ERASMUS exchange?
Only two hours from Paris, in a city that lives and breathes puppetry, ESNAM – Margareta Niculescu offers:
A small-scale, internationally recognised school dedicated to puppetry.
Teaching through workshops and masterclasses led by artists of global renown.
A unique curriculum combining acting, movement, voice, puppet manipulation, and construction.
Training that has shaped internationally known artists such as Gisèle Vienne, Renaud Herbin, Yngvild Aspeli, and Basil Twist.
The Spring 2026 semester includes:
Masterclasses in Ventriloquism, Shadow Theatre, Voice and Movement, and Acting.
A joint workshop with HMDK Stuttgart (Object Theatre & Dance-Theatre).
A collective project directed by Natacha Belova.

How to apply
Applications must be submitted by email to elodie.pigorot@marionnette.com and include:
A nomination letter from your home institution
Your CV
A cover letter specifying the desired exchange period
An artistic portfolio
Language requirements: French B2 and English B2.
Capacity: ESNAM can accept 2 Erasmus+ students per semester. Applications are reviewed by committee; shortlisted candidates may be invited to interview online.
Your home institution must also contact ESNAM’s training department to draw up an inter-institutional agreement (IIA).
