Call for Applications: EFFEA Residencies 2025
Supporting Emerging Artists Across Europe Deadline to Apply: 3 November 2025
The European Festivals Fund for Emerging Artists (EFFEA) has launched its 4th call for applications. This initiative, led by the European Festivals Association, invites festivals to collaborate internationally and support emerging artists through residencies.
✨ What’s on offer?
Around 50 residencies across Europe and its neighbouring regions.
Each residency must be co-created by at least 3 festivals from 3 different countries.
Dedicated funding for artists to develop their ideas, connect with programmers, and present work to audiences.
Funding Categories
EFFEA Discovery → €8,000 grants (approx. 40 available)
For artists at the early stages of their careers with strong international potential.EFFEA Springboard → €15,000 grants (approx. 10 available)
For artists already established nationally, ready to expand internationally.

Who Can Apply?
Festivals (leading and partner) must be registered on FestivalFinder.eu.
Residencies require 1 leading festival + 2 partner festivals from different countries.
Artists can be individuals, groups, or collectives from diverse artistic disciplines (theatre, music, dance, film, literature, visual arts, digital arts, etc.).
