Rain falling up is a new work by local conductor and composer, Brian Irvine. It`s a musical and visual exploration of the phenomena that is gravity, performed by the Ulster Orchestra with a specially-formed community choir.
We all have an understanding of what gravity is but it remains an illusive force. It is of course why things fall down but it is also a force of magnetism, the reason things are attracted to each other and why people remain fixed to a place.
