'Puppetry for Teachers'
For many teachers, puppets represent an invaluable resource in the classroom so to continue with our series 'Puppetry for Teachers', we will be running a number of one day courses that deal with the following:
* Issue Based Learning with Puppetry and Forum Theatre for KS2 and KS3
* Improved Pencil Skills through Puppetry for KS1 and KS2
* Improved Collaborative and Teamwork Skills for KS2
* Speaking, Listening and Creative Writing for KS1 and KS2
* Building a Kit of Puppets for Use in School for KS1
* Building a Kit of Puppets for Use in School for KS2
Course leaders for the series will include Caroline Astell-Burt, Angeliki Polatou, Jean Hammond and Liz Le Drew, coming from areas of Psychology, puppetry, puppetry in education, drama therapy and special education. All of these courses will involve some simple puppet-making so you will go home with something to try out at school.
If you are interested in taking one of these courses in London or Yorkshire or have an idea for a new short course, let us know at info@londonschoolofpuppetry.com.
